A number of highly demanded new features
were added:
Aspose.Word can now open encrypted Word
documents. Added new Document constructors that take a password.
Added MergeFieldEventArgsBase.Field and
DocumentBuilder.MoveToField to allow quick move to a merge field in a
custom mail merge event handler.
Made DocumentBuilder.MoveToMergeField and
MoveToBookmark return a boolean value instead of throwing an exception.
Page numbers in the TOC (table of contents)
when exporting to PDF are updated (requires Aspose.Pdf 2.7 or greater).
Added support for different horizontal and
vertical scaling of images when exporting to PDF.
Added SaveOptions.ExportImagesFolder and
SaveOptions.HtmlExportImagesFolderAlias to allow control over where the
images are saved during export to PDF and HTML and also how image URIs
are built.
Improved handling of paragraphs with lists,
indents and tabs when exporting to PDF.
Fixed exception "end of header/footer is
out of sync" for one document.
Fixed inserting some metafiles taking a lot
of memory.
