Hi Robin, Thank you for your detailed log information. This helps me to see more clearly now. It seems you're using Web Garden mode in IIS -- multiple worker process for an AppPool. Because Web gardens enable the use of multiple processes, all processes have their own copy of application state, in-process session state, caches, and static data. By default, the Web garden feature is disabled in IIS 6.0, and the default number of worker processes assigned to an application pool is set to 1. You can enable Web garden functionality by setting the number of worker processes assigned to an application pool to a number greater than 1. For information about how to configure a Web garden by using IIS Manager, see #Configure Application Pool Performance http://www.microsoft.com/technet/pro.../Library/IIS/6 d3f37b8-c7ef-4a9c-9b78-eba9412181d8.mspx To verify this, you could print out the process id of the request by: Response.Write(System.Diagnostics.Process.GetCurre ntProcess().Id); Regards, Walter Wang (wawang (AT) online (DOT) microsoft.com, remove 'online.')
