Default Caching DHTML - 10-21-2005 , 12:29 AM

Hi,

How would I cache the entire content of my header for a week. The header
contains a bunch of DHTML to render my menu and it also contains images.

Thanks,

~yamazed

Is that DHTML a self-contained file (used in a frame) or a fragment in
a single page?

Cheers,

Hi,

It is a fragment used in a page.

Thanks,

You could create a simple user control that contains that fragment and
enable server-side caching for that control. See the @OutputChache
directive on MSDN.
