Default Web custom control - 07-11-2007 , 05:08 PM

In VS 2003 there was a template for building a web custom control.
In VS 2005 there is no such template.
Where are the instructions for building a web custom control in .Net 2.0?

Arne-

What version of VS2005 are you running? I believe you have to have Professional
or higher to create a custom control (ala: Express and Standard cannot).
Once you have the correct version, when you create a new project, it should
be under:

Language / Web / Web Control Library.

David,
The Web Control Library is hidden under the windows folder. It took me two
years to find it.

Hah, you're right... I just booted up VS2005 and it was there... I've been
spending so much time in Orcas, I didn't even notice the different location.
Sorry about that.
