When I try to open Outlook Express 6 an error window pops up, then disappears before I can read it. I downloaded and installed the recommended Hotfix, but that did not solve the problem. |

Thanks. Like a dope, I neglected to save many of my folders when I had a chance. Now I need some of them. OE6 doesn't open at all. A long error message pops up for 1-2 seconds and disappears. I tried the remedies on sites suggested by both pvdg42 and Steve. Neither worked. I rebooted, pressed F8, and then selected "last known good, " OE6 actually opened for a few seconds, then closed. Long error message again popped up. Along the way, I accidentally deleted my OE .dbx folders. Not a big deal as I have other sources for the info. I'm considering last resort of Uninstall/Reinstall.
