I am baffled.
I have this project that works. When I open the aspx files, however, parser errors occur and the controls are failing to render. If I compile that project without changes, the app works
If I start editing the HTML side, the code starts to look funny. For example, "Autogenerate Columns" read "Autoenerate Columns" - missing G. Other words are also missing 1 letter here and there. It is odd.

If you have seen this before, please help.
I am about to do a re-install of .net (argh)
