Default IIS Install - 02-11-2005 , 12:11 PM






i also cant install iis because of the lack of an OS cd. i cant find anywhere
that i can download iis so i dont know whether i should freak out or not.
please tell me if there is any way i can get it.

I waited before answering you to see if there is a way. Unfortunately, it
looks as if my answer is correct.
IIS comes as part of selected Windows editions and (AFAIK) your OS CD is the
only available source.
Assuming you are using a Windows edition that includes IIS (Windows 2000
Pro/Server, Windows XP Pro, Windows 2003 Server come to mind), and you
registered your product, you *may* be able to contact Microsoft by
telephone, supply requested information and get a replacement CD for a
minimal cost. As I don't know where you are, I suggest you look up your
nearest Microsoft office:
