Hey everyone. I am just starting my first Visual C++ .NET programming class in the end of January and want to get a head start in understanding this. I am an old fashioned guy who used to program in Basic on a C64, so i am pretty much dumb when it comes to C++. Is this the place i can go as i go through my class to get answers when the questions arise? |

I am just starting my first Visual C++ .NET programming class in the end of January and want to get a head start in understanding this. I am an old fashioned guy who used to program in Basic on a C64, so i am pretty much dumb when it comes to C++. Is this the place i can go as i go through my class to get answers when the questions arise? Are you going to be using Visual Studio .NET as your development environment? If so, here or: microsoft.public.dotnet.languages.vc (the .NET C++ group) or microsoft.public.vc.language will work. If you're looking for generic C++ newsgroups, there's: alt.comp.lang.learn.c-c++ comp.lang.c++ and others. Hope these help. -- Peter [MVP Visual Developer] Jack of all trades, master of none. |
