Default Monitor Garble - 07-25-2007 , 10:36 AM

It just started when I am playing games on the net and ones downloaded to my
computer work for awhile then becomes tiny little boxes of colour. I have a
new video card, lots of ram, lots of space. I have defraged and cleaned.
Any ideas on what's going on? I wrote question in wrong area they sent me
here. Thanks in advance for any help.

I don't think "they" meant to send you to this .NET programming group.
The symptoms you describe are often associated with either:

1. An over heating video card, in which case you need to check to see the
cooling solution supplied with the card is working properly, and make sure
you have sufficient case airflow to move the hot air around the video card
out of the case.

2. Possible driver issues. Have you downloaded and installed the latest
appropriate drivers for your card? As you don't mention what version of
Windows you are using or any specifications on your video card or other
hardware, it's impossible to offer more detailed suggestions.

You should consider visiting the video card maker's web site to see if any
user forums are offered where you can ask questions.

To find an appropriate newsgroup for your question:

To find the group you need, go here:

http://www.microsoft.com/communities...D-2224A4FEB3EA

Then open your language in the TreeView on the left, scroll down to
"Windows", open and scroll down to your Windows version and select a
group for setup/hardware issues from that category.
