Default MSN Messenger - 12-15-2003 , 09:01 AM

I am having a problem with the shortcut for MSN
Messenger. It shows a different name and email address
than the one that comes up if I go through the MSN Home
Page. I must have signed up for a .net passport
previously, and the computer is recognizing the original
information. Plus when I click on the Sign In.net on the
shortcut, it will not allow me to put a password in, but
a message comes up that my sign in has failed due to the
wrong information being given. I like the shortcut
instead of having to go through the home page, but how do
I change the "pop up" box to match the information on my
MSN Home page? Do I have to delete everything I
installed and start over? Please advise. Thank you.

Hello, Dianne.
You might want to post your question in a newsgroup that covers MSN.
The group below would be a good starting place:

microsoft.public.msn.messenger

I think you'll get an answer much faster there.
