Lester,
This could be due to the fact that your system does not have sufficient
free space for temporary files. How much free space do you have?
Also, there is a knowledgebase article describing the situation you might
want to check out at
http://support.microsoft.com/default...b;en-us;305560
Let us know what you find out.

The version of Academic studio.net that I am trying to load is version
2003. The failure occurs when it is trying to load FrontPage. The text
|
that it gives is "The following components failed to install" "Microsoft
FrontPage 2000 Web Extension Client". According to the readme file, you can
run this in stand alone by executing Weccom.msi. When I run this I get the
message "Error 1926" "Could not set file security for this file
c:\Config.msi\" Error 5. Verify that you have sufficient priviliges to
modify the security permissions for this file. I try to find the file and
it is not there. I have read the documentation that was delivered with this
package and it requires SP3. If it requires SP4, I will try to load that.
I will have to download that file before attempting to update Windows.
