Hi Alex,

There are no built-in classes for compressing or creating Zip archives
in the .NET framework. However, as you can see by the replies to this
thread there are some free solutions. I think its important that you
also know you can get commercial 100% managed solutions to this need
as well. Ours is called Xceed Zip for .NET and is very
feature-complete. Check it out at www.xceedsoft.com/products/zipnet
