Default Retrieving dates in an Access Query - 10-23-2007 , 03:46 PM

I have a query that lists a case number and a service date. There are
multiple dates for each case number. I want to retrieve only the first three
dates for each case number.

Case # Date of Service

1 1/1/07
1 1/2/07
1 1/3/07
1 1/4/07
2 2/5/07
2 2/6/07
2 3/7/07
2 4/7/07
2 5/7/07
I would only want to see the first three dates for each case#.

Any ideas?

Please provide details of your table layouts and the relationships between
the tables. Without this information, any response you receive would just be
a WAG.
When you post back, please also consider posting to an appropriate Assess
group, rather than to this .NET programming group.

To find the group you need:

http://www.microsoft.com/communities...D-2224A4FEB3EA

Select your language from the Tree View on the left, then scroll down to
Office and Desktop Applications. In that category, select Access and find an
applicable group there.
