Default System.Net.Sockets.Socket.Blocking = True (still) doesn't work - 09-10-2003 , 06:44 AM

Dear Fellow Developers,

In news:OZ0W9RsdDHA.2432 (AT) TK2MSFTNGP10 (DOT) phx.gbl...
I ask the question how I can see if all the data is on the remotepoint or
out of the Winsock buffer.(1 of them would satisfy me) (In this question I
display my source of my socketwrapper)
I got as answer that I should use the blocking property.
I tried this I don't see any diffents, I am sending 10Mb and the
Send/BeginSend command doesn't wait till the data is on the remotepoint or
out of the Winsock buffer.

Can somebody pls. explain this.

PS.
In news:%23VC%23F7tdDHA.3356 (AT) TK2MSFTNGP09 (DOT) phx.gbl... I wrote the same as
what I am writing here, but someone answered explaining how TCP/IP works, I
replied there simplifing my problem.
I have no intention to spam the ms.public news server. Knowing me Knowing
you, I mostly react on messages what aren't replied on. I am both them
thankfull for responding, this is a high Prio for me.

Regards Robert.

As you seem not to be getting the information you seek in this academic
newsgroup, have you tried posting your question in one or both of the
following?

microsoft.public.dotnet.general
microsoft.public.dotnet.languages.vb

You may find people there better able to assist you. Just a suggestion.
