In a Windows Forms project (c#, VS2003) I have a dataSet problem I don't understand. Opening the project, this error displays in the VS Task List area ... "The custom tool 'MSDataSetGenerator' failed while processing the file 'dsMain.xsd." In the VS Solution Explorer I have three dataSet files ... + dsMain.xsd dsMain.cs dsMain.xsx If I configure a dataAdapter on a form and from there generate a table-structure to dsMain, another file, dsMain1.cs, appears under dsMain.xsd. With no error details from 'MSDataSetGenerator,' I'm not sure where to start looking for problems. Obviously something's wrong with my dataSet schema. Could these problems be upstream of the dataSet, in the dataAdapter command statments or connection? Or is the problem more likely in the dataSet? I'm really not clear on what 'MSDataSetGenerator' even does. Thanks for advice anyone can lend. |
