I have a WinForm app that uses a SQL Express database. I created the
database in the Server Explorer, and set up a table. I created a form, and
added a dataset, tableadapter, and a bindingsource. I bound the
bindingsource to the dataset. I added textboxes, and bound the textboxes to
the bindingsource. When I run the program, I start by adding a new row.
Then I fill in the text boxes. After I close the program, there is the new
row in the table, but all the fields are null. How do I save the data to the

Probably you are building the application and every time you build it, the
database is being copied to the data directory
check if you are using a "user instance", and then check the properties for
the database and select another option.
for debugging proposes you can set "Do not copy" or "Copy if newer". the
default option is "Copy Always".
