Default security problem - 07-05-2006 , 05:53 AM

hi,everybody.
I have a question about distrbuting my program safely. I have developed a
c# program and want to distribute it to my customers. But using
reverse-assembling tools everyone can "see" my codes very clearly. Is there
any tools that can changed my progrem to traditional binary execute file?
Could you help me? Thank you in advance.

Best Regards

Crespo

Hello Crespo,

use obfuscators for this.
But could you describe why you consider that reversing your code could harm
u?
I hope your app is not a some kind of revolutional algorithms for video/audio
processing.
First of all, you can point in the licence that decompliling breaks the contract.
Second, do you really think that even smth look there it could understand
enough to harm you?

I recomend to read this http://www.yoda.arachsys.com/csharp/obfuscation.html
