I am trying to install msn messenger and everytime i try to install it i get
a message:

msnmsgr.exe - application error
application failed to initialize (0xc0000005)

What is the solution for this?

You might want to try and post to the microsoft.public.msn.messenger group
instead as this a .NET programming newsgroup.

You might want to make sure you have any older version of messenger
uninstalled first. This error usually indicates that the program is trying
to access memory where it doesn't have permission. It may be a conflict
with a driver on your system as well. For example, if you have a webcam it
may be that you need an updated driver to work with messenger.
