Default Porting Appln from Windows Mobile to Windows XP Embedded - 02-11-2011 , 02:50 AM

Hi People,

I have task of porting Windows Mobile application to Windows XP
embedded with some additional enhancements. I am new in developing
appliction for Windows XPe. Can I use .Net Compact framework for this
development. If I can use .Net CF for development what project type I
have to select for that.

And can you tell me how to deploy the application in Windows XP
embedded device.

thanks in advace..

Hello,

for Windows XP (no matter which version) you need to use the normal .NET
framework and not the compact framework.

Greetings
