Default Turning on Wireless - 12-10-2004 , 10:00 AM

Is there a way to have my application detect that the wireless is turned off
and turn it on for the user instead of forcing them to manually do this? We
have an application we are developing that will integrate with our business
system running on PC's. This application requires the transfer of data to a
PC when it has finished its processes and we would like to make sure this
happens with minimal effort from the user.

Thanks,

cybercrypt

Turned off how? On what device? What is the reason for turning it off at
all (that is, why not leave it on)?

Hi Glenn!!!

I agree with Paul. You need to define why the need of disconnecting at
all. Check with your hardware manufacturer. I'm pretty sure that the handheld
itself has a routine that automatically connects to an RF network whenever it
can (unless you're using Bluetooth, which is a different approach).

Hope it helps!!!
