It took me whole day to figure out when my serviced compoennt with an .net
interface call failed, it seem the automatic interface tlb export and regasm
failed to run with regsvcs, can any one enlighten what is the algorithm and
when do I need to manually regasm /tlb the interface?

2nd one is a question cause I did do my homework , I can not set the approot
using command line regsvcs /appdir:<>, can anyone give me a simle example?

Hi Jim,

The application root only works in COM+ 1.5, i.e. XP and 2003. Are you on
Windows 2000, by any chance?

there is no approot column in COM+ 1.0 explorer, :-)
