Default LCE in .NET Not Working - 01-13-2006 , 10:54 AM

Hi,
I'm trying to do the simplest thing possible using Loosely Coupled Events
(LCE) and having no luck whatsoever. I'm following the example at
http://msdn.microsoft.com/library/default.asp?url=/library/en-us/cpguide/html/cpconlooselycoupledevents.asp,
which is similar to countless other examples I've found, none of which work
for me. It does nothing. No errors, logged or otherwise. It just does
nothing. I'm wondering if there's some configuration setting I'm missing.
I've tried the examples using .NET 1.1 and 2.0 on XP and Windows Server
2003. Ultimately this will run under 2.0 on Win2003. Can someone please
give me a clue about what to look for? Thanks.
John

Ok, I figured that out. I need to create a subscription. But now, is it
possible to do that programmatically, preferably through an installer?
