Hello, I have an assembly that references a COM DLL that uses ADODB. It runs properly when run from a regular .Net program, but I need it to run from SQL Server 2005. When I try to register the assembly it gets an error because it cannot find adodb.dll. When I try to register adodb.dll in the Microsoft.Net folder, I get an error telling me that adodb.dll was created using an older version of .Net, and it has not been tested in the SQL Server version of the CLR. Can I use an assembly that uses traditional ADO withing SQL Server 2005? |
