I have a doubt in asp.net. I am using a datagrid and on click
of edit button I get the required fields to be edited in textbox.
Now after the modifications in the required fields ,
i want an option to select only the changed fields in the
datagrid and do an update instead of selecting all fields and
build the sql update query.
For eg. if 3 fields firstname,middlename,lastname is displayed
for modification and when only middlename has undergone a change
then I want to build update query only for middlename.
How to select which field has undergone a change?

How to proceed with this.
Please help and advance thanks for helping.
