Default Anyone knows what has happened to Genuine Channels? - 05-15-2007 , 07:25 AM

Hi,

Does anyone know whether Genuine Channels is still actively
maintained? They are not answering postings in their support forums or
even by mail, and the last release was made in february last year even
if they had promised to make a new one in september.

So does anyone knows what has happened to them?

Best Regards
//Jan Persson

You could try giving them a telephone call.
WHOIS on the domain name gives a phone number in Russia for Dmitry Belikov,
who heads up their support.
Or maybe drop in for a chat - Chelyabinsk has its own airport.

Cheers
John

Hi, Actually I'm getting a little concerned as the web site is no longer up
and running! I've done some searches and based on what I found at

http://www.linkedin.com/pub/1/B05/B79

it can seem that see that Mr Belikov started at Microsoft in January.

I really hope this is not the end of the road for this great product.

Best regards,
Tim

Haha - it's kind of ironic that I didn't notice that (but there are quite a
few people working at Microsoft). I'll ask him what's going on.

Hmm. If he no longer intends marketing the product then it would be good if
he could be persuaded to release the source code. We have some issues with
the 2.0 framework version that I would quite like to get my hands on.
