Default Why would event call back fail over TCPChannel machine to machine but not local? - 09-20-2007 , 09:27 PM

I wrote a client and server and connected them via remoting. The server can
notify the client with an event when it connects locally. However,
attempting to notify a client connected from another machine causes the
server to throw a timeout exception after a many second delay. I disabled
the firewall on the client... why would this happen?

Thanks,
