Hello everybody, I am trying to deploy an application using ClickOnce, but i have a problem: sometimes in IE the .application file cannot be interpreted. What I already know, to save you some time / posts: - I am not referring to the problem in FF or other browsers: http://blogs.msdn.com/saurabh/archiv...02/541988.aspx . I am referring to IE, specifically 6.0.2 - The computer on which i see the problem has .NET 2.0 installed - The application which i am referring to can be installed on other machines (at least with IE 7 which i tried so far). Thanks, -- Mihai Tătăran |

Assuming you have checked the file associations and nothing is out of whack there, this means that IE is not the default browser. You need to check it in the IE settings. By the way, if you deploy a ClickOnce application with VS2008, even if you are targeting the .Net 2.0 framework, the resulting deployment will work without plug-ins on Firefox, Opera, and Safari, and you will rarely (if ever) see this problem again.
