Default unable to add web reference to my Windows forms app - 10-21-2004 , 12:22 PM

Hello,
I installed the Service Pack 1 for .net framework 1.1 and now I'm not able
to add a web reference to my VB.NET WinForms app.
This is the error I get when I try to add a reference to my existing web
service by adding a web reference
"There was an error downloading
'http://wwwi/dotnet/PMDashboardWS/JobStatusTemp.asmx'.
The underlying connection was closed: The server committed an HTTP protocol
violation."
I don't know why this is happening after I installed Service Pack1 for .NET
fx 1.1
Please let me know if you have any suggestions.
PS:The error does not occur when I dont install SP1 for .NET 1.1

Thanks

Hey - were you expecting the URL given in your email to be world-accessible?
I can't get a wsdl from the service.
