WINDOW DFS REPLICATION SERVICE; Upgrading Vista Ult. over Home Pre -

I have an OEM version of Vista Home Premium installed on a PC I had built.
The Windows Experience Rating is 5.8. I have Raid-0 drives.
I have tried repeatedly to install the Vista Ultimate upgrade over the top
of Vista Home Premium but the install fails and I get the message that one or
more files could not be configured and the OS is rolled back to Home Premium.
The MS KB says to go into Programs and Features to shut off...
MS .Net Framework 3.0\XPS Viewer
Remote Differential Compression
Window DFS Replication Service
I can get 2 of the 3 to shut down but Window DFS Replication Service will
not shut down. Hence I am unable to upgrade to Vista Ultimate.
Does anyone know the fix for this? My personal email address is
gregscher (AT) charter (DOT) net
Thanks for you time.
