Default Using ActiveX Object using Javascript in ASP.NET - 12-07-2005 , 03:00 PM





When I create an ActiveXObject "Scripting.FileSystemObject" in HTML file it
works fine but when I use it in ASPX(ASP.NET) file it gives me a javascript
error i.e. "Automation Server Can't Create Object", i dont know what is wrong
with it.

Are you looking for ServerSide FileSystem Manipulation or ClientSide. If
you are working ServerSide use System.IO instead of the legacy
Scripting.FileSystemObject
