Security accounts Manager Initialization failed because of the fol - 08-29-2007 , 03:04 PM

Hi I keep getting this problem when attempting to start up ,my compaq laptop.
lsass.exe System Error
The handle is invalid.Error Status 0xc0000008

If I click ok it says it will reboot in safe mode but it keeps returning to
the same point.

How do I fix it please?
