I am using windows XP Professional SP2. For the last one week my computer
respond very slow. I run some spyware terminator programe but of no use.
Today when i tried to install registry cleaner i got a message that the
registry editor is disable by the administrator.I tried to enable it but
there is no option available.Today i have findout that the following options
are missing.
1. Folder option under the tool Bar menu
2. taskbar Manager.
3. Registry is disabled by the System Administrator.
Please help me if this is coz of some Virus.

This isn't really the correct newsgroup for this question. This
newsgroup deals with the programmer's point of view of security.

microsoft.public.windowsxp.general
or microsoft.public.windowsxp.security_admin

would be more appropriate.

But it does seem that someone has taken control of your system. I'd
recommend a full clean reinstall as you'll never be really sure you've
found and eliminated all the 'bad stuff' someone might have done to your
system.
