How proficent are you at VB already?? What type of
codeing are you looking at doing(Windows Forms, Web
Forms, Databases,Controls, Everything)? There are
numorous books out there on learning to program in .NET
and VB. While I havn't personally read any of these
titles I have glanced at similar books in these series
and I have heard the following titles are pretty good.
Microsoft Visual Basic .NET Step by Step
(If you need the compiler this one is good)
Microsoft® Visual Basic® .NET Deluxe Learning Edition
I strongly recommend against getting any of the "Learn in
X days or hours".
There are also numorous resources online for learning how
to program in visual basic(gotdotnet.com,codeproject.com)
and I would also recommend that you download the visual
basic resource kit from msdn.
The company I work for also gives personalized help and
instruction so you may want to drop an email to
trainning (AT) easternunitedsoftware (DOT) com .
Thanks and I hope this helps!!!
John
