J# Browser Controls v1.1b has been officially release and is available here: http://msdn.microsoft.com/vjsharp/browsercontrols J# Browser Controls provide the ability to migrate Java applet source code to run on the .NET Framework. Migrated applets have full access to the functionality in the .NET Framework. This is also a very good way to migrate applets away from the Microsoft Java Virtual Machine, which is being retired (see http://www.microsoft.com/java for details). Version 1.1b builds on the previous release by adding support for the top requested features. Such features include: - Offline support. The ability to execute a J# Browser Control without reliance on a Web server. - Scripting support. The ability to interact with a J# Browser Control via scripting on the hosting page. - Other misc. features documented in the white paper here: http://msdn.microsoft.com/library/de...us/dv_vstechar t/html/vjtskMigratingJavaAppletsToMicrosoftJBrowserContro ls.asp Enjoy, and let us know what you think. Hi Gene I'm very sorry for the problems you're having. We have discovered a late-breaking technical problem with that particular release which is the reason it has been unavailable. If you do not require the additional functionality that version 1.1b introduces, then you can download version 1.1 at the site now. We are working as quickly as possible to re-release version 1.1b. I apologize for the problems this has caused you.
