Default J# and flat bed scanner - 10-11-2004 , 02:17 PM







Does anyone have any idea (0r knows where I can find some information
on how to control a flatbed scanner with J#?

Many scanners use a technology called TWAIN which is described here:

where you may want to start your research. I have no idea as to whether any
of what they have to offer is compatible with J#. My guess is not.

J# gives you access to the full .NET framework. So, the real question is
whether you can control your scanner with the .NET APIs. I don't have a
clue, but you should repost in one of the .NET NGs, you are more likely to
get an answer there than in a J# specific NG.
