OEM question

i have my oem number(PID) but need to know who the manufacturer of my
computer was get OE setup. I bought the computer about 4 years ago second
hand from a company that has since gone bankrupt. Microsoft cannot help me
because i cannot find the manufacturers page or the manufacturer. I upgraded
the computer from W/ME to W/XP home in 2002 3 months after i bought it. Can
any one of you wizards out there help me please. I am desperate as i cannot
send or receive any emails on OE.
