i'm upgrading a Borland C programme into a C# version
in which, there's a function named "window(int, int, int, int)" which can
only be found in Borland C conio.h
do anyone of u know how can i program the window function in the C#
enviornment. |
what do the Borland docs say that method does? (press F1 on it in the BC++
IDE)
there's an opensource OWL implementation for C++ I think and you could maybe
use in with managed C++, but I think it maybe a bad way to go unless you
have a huge application and no time to port it
there's a chance the VS.net IDE can read .res (compiled resource) or .rc
(resource script) files from BC++ and convert your BC++ forms to similar
WinForms (that you can then use from any .net language). Try the IDE menus
for open/import etc. That would work if you are not creating the GUI using
code, but using Windows resource files in the original C++ code
to make a window you can use a WinForm object in C# and make it the size you
want. I think you can even get its native handle somehow to talk to it
directly from unmanaged code (say from C++)
