This stuff drives me nuts.

Checkbox's on a form inside a tabControl that I seem to have no
control over. Checkstate=Checked and Checked=True, but the controls
appear checked and dimmed. Same checkbox on a form with no tabControl
works fine.

Assigned a textbox.text on tabControl.tabpage2 with the values from
textbox.text on tabControl.tabpage1, but they simply don't appear.
Have tried putting this code in many different events for tabpage2,
and currently its in the Enter for Page2, but simply doesn't work.

Both of these controls are databound to my dataset. Lately it seems
like I add one line of code, then spend 5 hours figuring out why it
doesn't work.

I've seen some threads that indicate I should not be using tabcontrols
and databound controls, but if it doesn't work, why is it an option.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Great to know that no one is experiencing any of these problems; must
be me... Everyone should use a software tool that always works as
intended.
