Default Small Data Base, Which Direction to Take ? - 01-23-2005 , 11:30 AM

I am gettig ready to start a small customer data base with VB.NETand would like to know if anyone can suggest which method wouldbe better. Either using a Custom Collection Class or an Un-Typeddata set.
My data base is going to be a .txt file that list customers andthings they have purchased. My goal is to read in the text filepick it appart and store the information into an CustomCollection Class or an Un-typed Data Set. I also want to databind the information to the forms text boxes, list boxes andother form controls. My biggest concern is what method will itbe easier and faster to search for and update customerinformation. I have already started the Custom Collection Classbut am finding it difficult (only because I am new to this) tosearch through an Customer Object to find specific customerinformation and update the screen and I am just not sure if thisis the best approach.

Thank you for any thoughts or articles that may touch on thissubject.
