Hi, I am trying without any result to create a Web project using VS Net Standard Edition 2002 on my IIS 5.1. Before upgrading to SP2 worked fine. I disabled XP Firewall and I configured my McAfee Firewall to allow inetinfo.exe to accept incoming/outbound connections. I opened the ports in the firewall also. But still is not working. I uninstaled the IIS, then reinstall it and also I reinstalled the Dot Net framework 1.0. No way, nothing is working! Few comments I would like to make: - WHY such big company like Microsoft is not testing such a basic things like these?... Have you guys installed a VS Net with SP2 trying to do the same things and it worked for you? What's wrong with these people at MS? How come in one instance can work (supposing they tested it) and in other environment is not working?... - By the way there is widespread problem with debuging after SP2. Why you guys at MS don't address this problem in time? Thank you for your time. With best regards, Alex |
