Default Convert VS 2003 web project to VS 2008. This is not a normal conve - 06-17-2009 , 09:02 AM

I had 2 PC's. One with VS 2003 and one with VS 2008. I had web projects on
the 2003 machine. The project files were saved in 3 locations. A wwwroot,
Visual Studio Projects and some type of VSWebCahce (machine name as the last
folder) folder. I did not use source safe. I would at times just copy the 3
folders to another PC so I had all the files located some where besides the
2003 machine. The 2003 machines hard drive crashed and had to be rebuilt. I
moved the 2003 files to the 2008 machine. The way 2008 saves web projects is
different than 2003. So I tried to create one folder and put all the other
files under it just how it would in a VS 2008 project. I then opened the sln
file and the conversion wizard popped up. When I started the conversion the
window popped up that is was opening or locating the files. Problem is that
it was trying to locate the files on the PC that crashed. So the error was
the project or files could not be found. What can I do to convert the
project on the 2008 machine with out having to recreate it piece by piece?
In the sln file or another file can I change the reference to the PC that
crashed?
