Default Adding the Office 2007 Primary Interop Assembly prerequisites? - 11-13-2008 , 12:00 PM

How can I ensure that the Office 2007 PIA are installed?

I don't see them here:
http://msdn.microsoft.com/en-us/vs2008/bb898654.aspx

Also I would like them to be instuded in the Installer...

Thanks,

Schneider

I recommend you check the message about Deployment pinned
at the top of the VSTO forum. That has links to information
for all software combinations.

For this particular question, read the section about "To
exclude ExcelAddin project dependencies".

My problem is that "2007 Microsoft Office Primary Interop Assemblies" is not
an available selection. It does not show-up on the list...

The fix instructions for that is here but is not correct:
http://msdn.microsoft.com/en-us/library/cc563937.aspx#VSTO3SolutionPart1_PreparingyourDeve lopmentComputer

The fix can not be followed, the folders specficied are not present...

Ask in the forum, where you'll find the MSFT folks.
